Abu Dhabi Hotels With Water Parks and Slides
Abu Dhabi arguably has the best selection of family hotels that include extra features for kids (yes, even more than Dubai!). Our favourite family hotels in Abu Dhabi are:
Emirates Palace
The undisputed winner in Abu Dhabi when it comes to a water park within a hotel. Kids (and big kids) can enjoy not only a lazy river but slides within the expansive hotel grounds of Emirates Palace. The hotel enjoys its own 1.3km stretch of private beach and offers two swimming pools.

The St Regis Abu Dhabi
Next up, Nation Riveria at The St Regis on the Corniche. There is a small kids’ zone attached to the main pool, Treasure Island. It is better suited to younger kids as the slides are only small but the supervised kids club is a great retreat while parents enjoy the pool and beach facilities in one of Abu Dhabi’s most exclusive beach clubs.

InterContinential Abu Dhabi
An oldie but a goldie, still plenty of fun to be had at the InterContinental Abu Dhabi. A great choice for a family day pass or an overnight stay, the Bayshore Beach Club offers a pool, playground and beach frontage all in one. Kids can enjoy a slide in the kiddy zone.

Radisson Blue Hotel & Resort
Based on the Abu Dhabi Corniche, a stay at Radisson Blu Hotel & Resort Abu Dhabi will earn you access to West Bay Abu Dhabi beach club (formerly the Hiltonia) – renovated and reopened with a huge new range of features.
As well as the private beach and three swimming pools, guests enjoy slides, a wave pool, zip line and a children’s playground. There’s also an adventure park and additional beach water sports at a charge.

Beach Rotana Abu Dhabi
Another family favourite, sitting in what used to be called the Tourist Club area of Abu Dhabi. The Beach Rotana has a great family lineup with pools, a lawn and a small beach frontage overlooking Al Maryah Island. It’s become somewhat built in over the years but makes a great value city stay.

Rixos Premium Saadiyat Island
If it’s a mini-aqua park you want, then the Rixos delivers! This all-inclusive offering on Saadiyat Island is perfect for those looking to balance parent relaxation time at the beach with family entertainment. Kids 4 to 12 years can enjoy the Rixy Kids Club offering, they even have a wave pool!

Saadiyat Rotana Resort & Villas
A popular family choice with a great range of family-sized rooms as well as access to Aladdin’s Cave, the kids club has a lazy river, splash pool, cinema zone, water slide and entertainment for your younger kids.

The St Regis Saadiyat Island Resort

Al Raha Beach Hotel
Sitting inconspicuously on the side of the freeway into Abu Dhabi, Al Raha Beach Hotel is a bit of a hidden gem for families with young kids. The calm beach waters and fun toddlers & kids play pool has a large water playground. There’s also an indoor swimming pool and a wide range of water sports on offer (some seasonal).

The WB Abu Dhabi, Curio Collection by Hilton
Situated in between Yas Waterworld and Warner Bros World Abu Dhabi on Yas Island is the newly opened WB Hotel. It’s all location, location! The hotel itself only has one swimming pool and a small kids’ play area, but you will get theme park tickets included with your stay to access everything on offer at Yas Waterworld.

Ajman Hotels With Water Parks and Slides
Sadly, none of our favourite Ajman hotels come with a water park or slides included, but you can see a selection of our favourite Ajman hotels and things to do with kids in Ajman here.

Dubai Hotels With Water Parks and Slides

Jumeirah Zabeel Saray
This deserves a separate mention from the Jumeriah hotels above as it has a large water play structure as well within the resort, making it one of the family favourites on the Palm Jumeirah.

Fujairah Hotels With Water Parks and Slides
The east coast of the UAE can make a brilliant escape year-round. Facing the Gulf of Oman rather than the Arabian Gulf on the other side of the Hajar Mountains, it’s usually a few degrees cooler than Dubai and Abu Dhabi. You’ll find a great selection of family hotels, here are our favourites with extra pool facilities worth mentioning.
Le Meridien Al Aqah Beach Resort
There’s so much packed into one family resort here. From the extensive kids’ splash playground, and indoor kids club to the largest swimming pool on the east coast. There are eight onsite dining choices along with half board and all-inclusive options.

If you’ve not tried Le Meridien Al Aqah yet, get it on the top of your UAE Bucket List!

Fairmont Fujairah Beach Resort
The special offering at Fairmont Fujairah is the wibit water park in the sea, a fabulous extra adrenaline activity perfect for your older kids (though admittedly a little too hot in the peak of summer). This is in addition to a great range of water sports and the Sun Family Kids Club.

Ras al Khaimah Hotels with Water Parks and Slides
Ras al Khaimah is an absolute family paradise when it comes to extra facilities at your hotel resort, be it additional kids clubs, pools, playgrounds… and water parks!
Doubletree by Hilton Resort and Spa Marjan Island
We’d have to argue this is up there with the best waterparks in the UAE. There we said it! The pirate ship waterpark at Doubletree was a magnificent addition to the already stellar family line up at this popular RAK resort. Along with spaciously sized family rooms, a great playground, kids club and beach frontage with plenty of water sports on offer, it’s a family winner.

You may also want to give a try:
Waldorf Astoria – often offers some serious good value summer specials with large spacious family rooms and an exceptional recreation program
Hilton Ras al Khaimah Resort & Spa – not the same impressive pirate ship offering but nonetheless a great family choice with loads of pool options, one with a slide.

Sharjah Hotels With Water Parks and Slides
Although there are many large family hotels in Sharjah, we’ve not found any yet that go over and above when it comes to water parks and slides – but we’ll keep you posted!
You can learn more about Sharjah’s best family hotels & resorts along with things to do here
Umm al Quwain Hotels With Water Parks and Slides
Last but not least, Umm al Quwain, and perhaps one of the UAE’s forgotten water parks Dreamland!
There are no resorts immediately attached to Dreamland, but you can stay at the park itself in onsite cabins, glamping style or try the adjacent Barracuda Beach Resort – on a different level to most of the resorts we’ve mentioned here but a great value choice weekender!

You can learn more about Umm Al Quwain and it’s family resort offering here.
